Wildlife Australia Fund, Inc (WAFI) is a US-based non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of Australia’s wildlife. WAFI supports the acquisition and management of land in Australia for conservation, as well as the conduct of scientific research and public education. Australian expatriates are coming together all over the United States to save Pungalina-Seven Emu, and protect a wilderness area of outstanding conservation significance. Located in the Gulf of Carpentaria, the combined area of Pungalina-Seven Emu is 750,000 acres, which encompasses:

  • Over 55 kilometers of pristine coastline
  • More than 100 kilometers of the nationally significant Calvert River
  • Over 325 species of birds, mammals, reptiles and frogs, including a suite of threatened species.
